Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 1/31/2026
International Hope Builders (“IHB,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of visitors, donors, and supporters who interact with us through www.internationalhopebuilders.org (the “Site”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have regarding your information.
Information We Collect
When you interact with our website, we may collect information in two primary ways: information you voluntarily provide and information collected automatically through website tools.
If you choose to contact us, subscribe to updates, register for an event, or make a donation, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, donation amount, and any message you choose to share. When you donate, payment details are collected securely by our donation processor and are not stored directly by IHB.
In addition to information you voluntarily provide, certain technical information is collected automatically when you visit our website. This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you visit, how long you stay on a page, how you arrived at our website, and general geographic location (such as city or region). This information helps us understand how visitors use our website so we can improve performance and user experience.
Website Hosting, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies
Our website is hosted on the Wix platform. Wix provides us with the online infrastructure that allows us to operate our site. As part of standard website operations, Wix may collect server logs, session data, performance metrics, and security information to ensure the stability and safety of the website.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors engage with our site. Google Analytics collects information such as page views, session duration, traffic sources, device information, and overall visitor behavior patterns. This information is aggregated and helps us improve our content, outreach, and search visibility. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to function.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using Google’s browser opt-out tool available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Donations and Payment Processing
Online donations are processed through Giving Fuel, a service operated by Webconnex LLC. When you make a donation, your payment information is securely transmitted directly to Giving Fuel using encrypted technology. Giving Fuel and Webconnex act as payment processors and maintain their own privacy and data security practices.
IHB does not store full credit card numbers. We receive confirmation of your donation, along with contact information necessary to send a receipt and maintain our donor records.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to process donations, send receipts, respond to inquiries, communicate updates about our mission, improve our website performance, maintain internal records, comply with legal obligations, and protect against fraud or misuse of our website.
We do not sell, rent, or trade donor or visitor information. We only share information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our website or processing donations, and only to the extent necessary for those services.
Cookies and Your Choices
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to ensure proper functionality, analyze traffic, and improve user experience. Cookies are small data files stored on your device when you visit a website.
Through Wix tools and your browser settings, you may manage, disable, or delete cookies at any time. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being used. Please note that disabling cookies may affect certain features of our website.

If you provide your email address, we may send occasional updates about our programs, events, or fundraising efforts. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.
Data Security and Retention
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. While we strive to protect personal data, no method of online transmission or storage is completely secure.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, and maintain financial records required for nonprofit reporting.
